It's a small but mighty group of racers this weekend! Best of luck to you. Have fun! I'm glad your races are not on the east coast. Smile

Good luck! Kathleen: I hope the weather is cooler for you in Ashton than it was a couple of years ago when I ran Mesa Falls.

Good luck all, run fast & safe.

Don't know if Karen or Nattu registered, but if they did their Facebook should post every time they go through a checkpoint. There's also all kinds of live updates at the UTMB site but a lot of it is in French. http://utmb.livetrail.net/

And for anyone who doesn't know, UTMB is a pretty big deal.

Good luck, guys.

I finished, had fun, didn't fall down, but it was not my finest hour! Met Dane (he was sponsored by the Idaho Beef Council) and LeannNo, it was wicked hot - about 62 degrees at the start (6:30 am) and five + hours later, about 88 degrees and threating storms, so a bit humid. The Huckleberry milkshake was totally freaking awesome - I felt the altitude though, starts at 6200+ feet and killer hill mile 17-19.

I hope the others had better days and everyone on the Eastern seaboard is managing the force of mother nature. Thanks for the good wishes!

Somehow, I think that reads just like my race report (hmmm, did I write one) for Mesa Falls. Congrats on surviving. Now I want another huckleberry milkshake!
