Tomorrow I start training for Twin Cities on October 5th. A nice way to start my birthday!
I realized over the summer that I have been running way under my comfort zone for the past two years. I am going to step it up a bit this time around.

My goal time for the race is yet undetermined. More important than time right now is to complete it with out walking!

Comfort is way overrated, push yourself hard!

Heard on a podcast this morning: "If you're not improving then your getting too comfortable."

I was telling a friend that she better be careful because even though she is running smooth (and fast, for her) SPEED KILLS.
She told me "it's OK, I am running with how my body feels."

That was 6 weeks ago.

She has spent the past four weeks in a boot.

Stress Fracture.

She is scheduled to run her first Marathon in September.

SPEED KILLS!!!!!!!

I MUST listen to my bofy as I slowly increase my pace!!!!!!

There’s little growth in the comfort zone and little comfort in the growth zone.

I tried to go beyond my comfort zone this training cycle but it did not always work.
However, I will do my best this Sunday as I run in memory of Matthew who left us far to early.
