Ian - please add the Race to Robie Creek 1/2 marathon to my list. April 16th - race filled in 21 minutes this year and I got a coveted entry! Thanks!

Cancel me out of Gator Trail 50K on Saturday. Running a local 12k trail race instead. I want my 50th marathon/ultra to be something special so am signed up for SweetH20 50K on the 16th of April. Gotta run me some power lines and gas lines and have river crossings and it'll probably be 90 degrees and I missed seeing the skull on top of a fence post when I skipped it last year. Very Happy

I purposefully did not put a snake reference in there Michele! Did not want to jinx myself.

If you like snakes, I hear we have one roaming free in NYC.

Most excellent! Starting to look like we might need to put together a Saturday night pasta party.

There is nothing wrong with PF Changs if, in fact, that is the best you have to offer. Sadly, this may be true in Providence.

I'm with Tracey - lots of cool places around Brown. It is still on my list of possible places to live when Shannon graduates. Providence and Cleveland - who'd believe that.

You can take me off the SLC 1/2 marathon...I busted myself down the 5k instead. Was hoping they had a 10k -but no luck. Still should be a good trip to visit my friend there in SLC - I've never been before!

Some of it is Leann's fault. Most of it is Judy's. . . the rest is those damn MM star levels.

We have three friends running it; my husband is crewing one of them and I had talked about crewing another. However, she wasn't sure she was going to run this year (she ran it last year). We had discussed it about a month ago; I told her I'm not great in the heat, but she assured me I'd just do night duty (not that it gets much cooler!)

At any rate, I hadn't heard anything else from her, so I assumed either she wasn't running or that she had found her crew members. I then got an email from her asking if I had made any travel plans. Gulp! Looks like I'll be doing some heat training Confused

Ahhh, unless I don't run it (still not registered). Sitting poolside at my friend's house just north of Miami. I could go slog through the heat and humidity and sun for 10+ hours alongside a highway, or hang out here in the pool drinking margaritas all day tomorrow...

And believe it or not, this is actually difficult for me to decide.

Fool, indeed.

Add me to TCM on 10/2 and Des MOines on 10/16 as the 3:35 pacer. Speedy, I am still on the fence for Fox Cities.

I'm doing Mt Ashland Hill Climb Run August 6th

and also pacing for the Leadville 100 on August 20th - this one kind of scares me - don't mind the mountain passes but don't like the idea of river crossings where you need a rope to help you get across

A change on September 3rd....cancel Woods Ferry. Doing Iron Mountain 30 mile instead.

Oh and I got off the wait list for Hot2Trot 8 hour. So, I'll be in Lithia Springs, Ga on August 7th running in ever increasingly hot circles. Smile

Thanks Ian.

Now that I've got a few long runs done, and I'm officially signed up- my official announcement that I am actually going to run the Montreal marathon on September 24th!

20th Annual Maine Marathon, Portland, ME
10/2/11

And to demonstrate just how much of an idiot I am:

An early start at 6 a.m. is available only for marathoners who expect to maintain a pace of 13 minutes per mile or slower.
