I'm going into the Columbia half with about the same; the wildcard will be how far can I run on Saturday?

PS Running a race? Aren't you up to your eyeballs in tax forms?

Yes - I'm going to strap a laptop onto my chest and have friends bring me new returns to work on every few miles. Should be successful, don't you think?

Scenic City Trail Marathon, 5/19, then have a beer with No Twitch

Grandmas Marathon, 6/16, then have a beer with whatever Tapers are there

I'll probably also do CMM and Strolling Jim, but I am not ready to commit.

okay... I'm out of the Ragnar Relay 9-28 / 9-29 after some of the team members got laid off and had to conserve $$ and job hunt instead of train.

however I am signed up for

Maine Marathons, Portland, ME 9-30
Rt.66, Tulsa, OK 11-18
St.Jude, Memphis, TN 12-1

now to shuffle air mileage points to cover some of this...

I have pretty much blown off every single one of my May, June, and July races. Too much family stuff going on. I did run black mountain 12 hour in June and set a new distance record for me....52.7 miles in 11 hrs. 42 minutes:). I have been running my butt off all summer averaging 8-10 miles a day and have dropped 15 lbs as of this morning. Not sure how far I'm going with the weight loss thing but I feel great!

That said, my next race ( which I will not blow off) is Landsford Canal 50k on July 28th. I'm hoping to improve on my time from 2 years ago if the heat/humidity doesn't kill me. Wink

Run on taper friends!

Hey, guys: Michelle (2Ls) has graciously agreed to take over the race calendar duties from me, so look for her post shortly. I'll get KRob to make her post "Sticky" and unstick mine, so mine will drop on down the page shortly, and then on into oblivion.
