Brilliant idea, and an inspirational story. Running really is a great sport for this kind of program.

As a person completely lacking in balance and hand-eye co-ordination, I love that running is a sport with almost no barrier to entry, which rewards you for effort and discipline, and can get you that "runner's high".

This is very similar to another great program called Back on my Feet. It's awesome what a little support and movement will do for a person's life.
