OK tapirs I just bought my airline ticket for the Monkey. So I'm in for rock bottom sure. Anyone else going to join Trent, Michele, Ian and myself? Stick it on the TM calendar and commit, it won't hurt. I mean the committing, the Monkey might be a different matter.

It is only a drive for me, so I don't really have to commit for a while.

When is it expected to fill up this year?

Trent- are you capping at 100 or increasing this year?

Welcome aboard! Fools Wink

This year we will cap the Monkey at 200. While we will not know until it actually happens, there is some speculation that Monkey II will fill very quickly, perhaps within the first day. General registration opens August 1 at 8am.

If you have friends who ran Monkey I, you may want to ask them about an email that they may receive in late July. Just sayin'.

Trent, my email is listed also... just in case.

Michele, I didn't mean you, I meant the folks that haven't put themselves on the caledar.

And lastly Sunkid, who is that in your avatar and why is their finger in their eye?

Tangents will be forever moot, and while there may be cake, don't forget the pumpkin pies and gourmet banana posicles.

I've never had a posicle. Is it anything like a po'boy and, if so, how do bananas go with remoulade sauce?

Even though alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the beautiful Percy Warner Park, those who know the location of Dallas' black Mazda Tribute, parked conveniently near the finish line, may perchance find an ice cold Budweiser in the cooler in the rear. Just sayin'

I was too sore, tired and freakin' cold to drive off, so I hung around.

Oh, and I'm predicting rain this year.

Spill your guts Trent since no one else is outing themselves. The calendar shows 4 tapirs including yourself so who else?

Hampton Inn, Bellevue. Seems like it's pretty close to the evil monkey area. I stayed in the Brentwood area last year which was OK but wanted to be closer to the park this year.
